Rainbow Calligraphy Wedding Vows

A lovely client recently contacted me to create a rainbow calligraphy inscription of his wedding vows as a gift for his wife.

I love creating rainbow calligraphy!!! This commission was such a pleasure :)

(This was created with pen & ink calligraphy which was fiddled with in Photoshop, then layered over a stock image of roses.)

Recent Design: Hand Lettered & Painted Floral Invite

This invitation design is for a wonderful bride who requested a floral invitation which popped with bright corals & greens, and was accented by a little bird.

This is what we came up with :) The floral design was painted with watercolors, and the bride & grooms names were handlettered in my modern vintage calligraphy.

The details of the wedding were written in small “Trajan” font.

White Calligraphy on Kraft paper

White ink on kraft paper is such a pretty combination… soft & chic, rustic & oh so elegant.

Calligraphed envelopes on my drying table. I like to let them dry for a full day before sending them off.

{Just a note, if you are having your envelopes calligraphed, remember to always have them hand cancelled at the post office!}

Lily of the Valley

I just adore lilies of the valley. Soon, it will be time to start seeing these precious little flowers. Ooh I love spring!

Classic, Formal Calligraphy Wedding Invitation

I recently finished this elegant, formal wedding invitation in my modern vintage calligraphy style.

I call this calligraphy style “Modern Vintage” as it is based off of traditional pointed-pen hand lettering styles, such as Copperplate. Very vintage yet utterly modern!

The bride was an absolute pleasure to work with :) All the best to you both for your wedding day & beyond!

Current Project: Floral Summer Garden Wedding Invitation

I really love flowers, so of course I adore creating these floral invitations.

This summer wedding invitation features a selection of flowers from the garden where the wedding will take place.

The couples’ names are hand lettered & framed by a gently billowing banner :)
